Kurt and Maria Play Tango Sonata in Scotland

Saturday, September 27th, 2008

Kurt and Maria Played Tango Sonata in Scotland in September, 2008. There was a phenomenal review:

Fall 2008 in the Nairn, Scotland, local paper;

. . . but the steamy highlight of this celebration of dance was still to come in the shape of an astonishing “Tango Sonata” by the couple’s friend Ron Wasserman. . . he has crafted three Tango movements of enormous power, the middle of which sweeps through a range of harmonic progressions worthy of the great Richard Strauss, while never losing the urgency and passion of the Tango.  This work was simply a tour de force of the first order.
